Sophie Francis
Sophie is a basketmaker and willow artist inspired by the intersection between nature and human creativity. She is interested in understanding traditional basketry techniques but freely innovates with colour, form, and texture. Seeking to understand the constancy and change of the natural environment inspires her work. Her small group workshops encourage freedom in creativity and give space to explore materials and weaving processes.
