Bird Feeder / Garlic Holder Workshop

Come and make this creative willow vessel that can be used as a fat ball feeder for the birds, or in the home to store garlic or even dry herbs.  

No previous experience is required as workshop tutor, Sophie Francis, will guide you step by step through the process. This is a perfect introduction to basket as you will learn some basic principles of the craft and two useful weaves.   All materials will be provided including a ready-made cork bark strap to hang your holder from.

Please note willow weaving requires some manual dexterity.

This workshop is part of Weave Only A Trace: An exhibition of basketry, wood and natural fibres.
