Bulrush & Leaf Workshop

Come along to a relaxing hands-on workshop with Weave Only A Trace artist-maker, Ruth Denison, where you’ll learn to make a gorgeous woven Bulrush and Leaf which will look lovely in the garden amongst your plants or inside to decorate your home.

Using homegrown and Somerset willow you will learn basic willow weaving techniques including a traditional corn dolly weave for the bulrush and flat weave for the leaf.

Suitable for beginners, and those with experience alike, each participant will be able to make a couple of each during the session.

All materials will be provided. Please note willow weaving requires some manual dexterity.
