Festive Wreath Workshop

Learn how to make a woven willow hoop then dress it with seasonal foliage, cones and material for an attractive festive decoration for your door, with Weave Only A Trace artist-maker, Lesley Butler.

This workshop is part of Weave Only A Trace: An exhibition of basketry, wood and natural fibres. All workshops are suitable for beginners, and are designed to introduce visitors to some of the materials and techniques used by our artists in the exhibition. Workshops will be taught by one of our exhibiting artist-makers, and you'll get to take home whatever you make during the workshop.
