About the event
Join Weave Only A Trace artist-maker, Lesley Butler, and learn how to make this attractive bird feeder which is suitable for holding fat balls or can be used with a hanging plant to make a lovely feature for your garden.
All materials will be provided. Please note willow weaving requires some manual dexterity.
This workshop is part of Weave Only A Trace: An exhibition of basketry, wood and natural fibres. All workshops are suitable for beginners, and are designed to introduce visitors to some of the materials and techniques used by our artists in the exhibition. Workshops will be taught by one of our exhibiting artist-makers, and you'll get to take home whatever you make during the workshop.
