About

The exhibition will feature the work of 12 regional artist-makers showcasing the diverse range of uses and interpretations of willow, wood and natural fibres. There will be traditional and heritage baskets on show, alongside sculptural and contemporary pieces. Throughout the exhibition, there will be a rolling programme of interactive family-friendly demonstrations, opportunities to meet the artist-makers, and a pop-up shop where you can buy unique handcrafted items.

St Mary's Church is located in Shrewsbury town centre, and is a renowned medieval church, with world famous stained glass and an important regional arts venue. The exhibition will coincide with the annual Shrewsbury Arts Trail and the Stained Glass Festival, hosted by St Mary's Church. â€‹â€‹
